Professional Electrical Training
with industry recognition
Step 1: Domestic Electrical Installer Training
You will begin by attending our Professional Electrical Training – this is centre led practical training that is delivered in small groups. At this stage we also deliver essential 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and the Domestic Electrical Installers Award (Part P).
Step 2: On-Site Work Experience
You will continue your professional development with real work experience. We will introduce you to a local electrician who will act as your mentor whilst you gain valuable on-site work experience under supervision. This is a voluntary arrangement and although not mandatory it is recommended you try and take advantage of this offer in order to build your confidence and knowledge. This placement will help to underpin everything that you have learnt at the training centre date.
Step 3: Advanced Testing and Inspection Qualifications
Following your on-site work experience you will have the opportunity to return to the training centre to gain Periodic and Initial Testing and Inspection Qualifications. These are advanced electrical qualifications that follow on from your Professional Electrical Training. They are highly sought after by employers and contractors. We recommend that you build your on-site experience before attempting this stage of your training and development.
