At Options Skills, we are always on the lookout for qualified, gas safe engineers to join our gas mentors team. During step two of our gas course, students must undertake work experience, on-site, with a gas engineer. Doing so enables them to complete their portfolio and learn valuable skills in the trade.
To be considered for this role:
- You will be currently working as a domestic gas engineer on installations, servicing and breakdowns.
- You will hold current Gas Safe Registration.
Acting as one of the Options skills gas mentors to a trainee gas engineer, they will undertake real-life work experience.
This is not a full-time commitment but an opportunity for you to the join the Options Skills network of mentors. You will receive payment for each trainee that you supervise and help to build a suitable portfolio. The opportunity not only allows you to earn more money, but you also gain an extra pair of hands on-site and help someone enter the trade. As an Options Skills Mentor, you will also benefit from free or heavily discounted training and qualifications in the future.
If you are interested in possibly gaining assessor qualifications we can help you gain these too.
For more information about our mentor scheme please visit our mentor page, or call one of our advisors here at Options Skills. They will be able to provide more information, answering any questions you may have.
Interested? Please submit your details and we’ll give you a call.
