Electrician Training Course – Commendation Note Recieved

As mentioned I am so enthused about the RF Domestic Installers Electrical Course that I feel empowered to submit my thoughts to paper in the form of a commendation.
The background to Dean Briggs being enrolled on the course is based upon the following considerations:
- Dean is an apprentice to my Company – Keymap Ltd., he is following a modern day apprenticeship with JTL, which is a 4 year apprenticeship, of which Dean has successfully completed his 2nd year and is ongoing with the 3rd year now.
This is a very comprehensive training, however it does not provide for the key Domestic installers qualifications:-
- City & Guilds (2382) – 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (Level 3)
Logic Full Scope Electrical Part P Scheme - City & Guilds (2392) Certificate in Fundamental Inspection and Testing and Initial Verification
- City & Guilds (2382) – 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (Level 3)
Logic Certification Domestic Periodic Inspection and Testing Award
Therefore I decided to undertake the above training for Dean and taking the exams for these qualifications.
I surveyed many training providers – many I contacted and spoke too did not have or had a very poor understanding of the electrical industry and could not respond to my queries and many only provided hands on [practical] training and for the technical content issued CD’s for home study.
That was until I spoke to RF Training and yourself. You answered all of my queries and described your course in finite detail and that you had your own classrooms and the technical work was fully supported at your training centre – a most impressive conversation I had with yourself.
When I eventually made a decision for the course Dean was to attend, you offered to show me the facilities of the training on a Saturday morning to suit my work commitments. It was a very impressive tour of your facilities and it demonstrated the orderly structure of the course.
You also reiterated the following points:
- Contactable any time for any issues whilst Dean was on the course
- Organising lifts with other students for Dean to get to & from the training centre to the hotel
- Updates of Deans projects and any concerns I had etc.,
- Full explanation at any time of what Dean was doing in terms of the course.
In short you covered all bases in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
Conclusion
The reason I chose RF training was mainly the residential aspect of the technical training. Dean is very practical and hands on – and is good at the work. However he has not [until now] had the same dedication to the Technical work – he is not stupid by any means, but it has always been his application and concentration to the Technical requirements.
This course has seen a steep change in his attitude and application towards the Technical side of things.
Therefore the course in my opinion has delivered 100% of what you told me and the bonus of changing Dean’s attitude to the Technical work.
It is a very rare quality in this day and age to have delivered everything that is verbally promised – you and RF have delivered [and more] in this course. The course was delivered with astounding professionalism and dedication.
I can only offer my thanks and appreciation for what Dean has achieved under your [and the instructors] guidance. It has been a very worthwhile investment in Dean gaining the qualifications which will enhance his profile when he completes the JTL apprenticeship and the qualifications associated with that.
I can therefore recommend RF training to anyone and would gladly do so. I also offer you my sincere thanks and appreciation relating to Deans achievements on the course and you can be sure Dean will be returning to your establishment for further training courses.
