Jamshid Abbasi – Birmingham Gas Course Graduate

birmingham gas course graduate

Options Skills often get trainees who are looking to add to their existing plumbing or trade skills. By learning another trade, it allows to them to expand their earning potential and increase the amount of work they can accept. By doing so, they no longer have to rely on a third party to do the technical jobs. With their existing trade skills, they are perfectly suited to take their skills and experience to the next level.

Jamshid is a recent Birmingham gas course graduate of Options Skills. Prior to training with us, he did general plumbing work, plastering and tiling. Being unable to take on work that required gas certification, he knew it was time to become a fully qualified gas engineer.

Here is what Jamshid had to say about his training and becoming a gas course graduate:

“I previously traded as a plumber and plasterer and found myself needing to get my gas qualifications to increase the number of jobs I could take on and increase my earning potential.

I found Options Skills via the internet. Reading through the feedback from other students, I was confident it was the right place for my training.

I’m glad I made the decision as the trainers were excellent and I found the course material was well explained. I left to build my portfolio confident of my new skills, happy with the level of support I had received. Since completing my training, my mentor has offered me ongoing work as a gas engineer.

I would not change anything about the training and I am glad I made the commitment.

I’d gladly recommend Options Skills to anyone thinking of getting into the gas trade.”

Jamshid summed up his experience of training with Options Skills and the course by saying:

Awesome course and everyone has been so friendly.

Jamshid found the mentor scheme incredibly valuable and his hard work and dedication also lead to employment once he completed the course.

As the only training provider in the UK to guarantee you a gas engineer to complete your portfolio with, Jamshid’s experience proves just how beneficial it can be to securing future employment.

We wish Jamshid all the best with his future endeavours in the gas trade. We’re glad that he has left with the confidence and skills to become a professional gas engineer. We hope to see him in 5 years time for ACS Renewal.
