Nottingham electrician courses

Options Skills has developed a robust electrician course in Birmingham, providing students with varying levels of experience the chance to train. The course provides you with practical skills and industry recognised qualifications, enabling you to gain paid work after the first stage of your training.

The first stage of the training is delivered at one of our fully equipped training facilities. You will join a small group of people who have the same goals and requirements as yourself. Training commences with practical, hands-on instruction and culminates with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and DEI (Part P) qualifications.  This stage of training takes 40 days and can be done on either and full or part-time basis. Our flexibility is one of the reasons why many people turn to Options Skills when looking for electrician courses.

Following on from stage one, you will go on to create a portfolio of work, working as an electrical trainee alongside a qualified electrician. Then, after successfully passing your AM2 assessment, you’ll be ready to apply for your JIB/ECS ‘Gold Card’. Once you’ve obtained this card, you’re officially awarded the status of Installation Electrician and can go and work as a qualified and legal electrician.
