Manchester Electrical Training Experts

Options Skills has developed an easy to follow a five-step electrician training course in Manchester.

Providing you with theoretical knowledge and practical skills, you will earn industry-recognised qualifications that will allow you to go on and work as a legal and professional electrician.

We deliver the first stage of training in our fully-equipped centre in the heart of Manchester where you will be part of a small, dedicated group. Centre-led training begins with hands-on instruction, and this stage of training takes 30 days and can be done on either a full or part-time basis.

Following on from stage one, you will create a portfolio of work as you work alongside a qualified electrician.

On-site, paid work is a requirement of the NVQ Electrical Training Course, allowing you to earn as you train, and we have a dedicated recruitment team who can assist you in finding work.

You will then complete Inspection and Testing through a mixture of home study and centre-led training and assessment.

After the first three stages of training, you will take your AM2 assessment, which upon completion, will allow you to apply for your ECS Gold Card and obtain Installation Electrician status.

Once you have completed all five stages of training, you will be eligible to apply for Approved Electrician Status.
