HEATING & HOT WATER DESIGN
As part of our Heating Design module, students will undertake a 2-3 day training course in Heating and Hot Water Systems.
This training course is aimed at new entrants to the gas and heating industry and those moving into the renewables industry - particularly ground and air source heat pump installation.
Accredited by LCL, students will be assessed through a design scenario task along with a multiple-choice assessment, leading to HSD1 certification.
Training is delivered as part of our ACS Gas & Renewables Training Course but can also be undertaken by existing engineers looking to upskill.
Engineers must renew this qualification after five years.
