Birmingham Gas Training
We offer gas, plumbing & renewables courses in Birmingham from our fully-equipped training centre based in the heart of the city. With training courses delivered by tutors with years of experience, we have designed our courses to provide everything you need to know to become a gas and heating engineer.
Our complete ACS Domestic Gas Training Course is a three-step course combining practical and theory training with on-site work experience and essential assessments. Upon completion, you’ll be eligible to join the Gas Safe Register.
We also have several renewables training courses available to enable engineers to future-proof their careers.
Upon completion of all of our gas, heating and renewables training courses, you can gain the following qualifications:

- Central Heating and Boilers (CENWAT)
- Gas Fires (HTR1)
- Gas Cookers (CKR1)
- Central Heating & Hot Water Design (HSD1)
- Unvented Hot Water Systems (G3)
- Part L of Building Regulation (Part L)
- Water Regulations (WRAS)
- Low-Temperature Heating Design (LTHWS)
- Air Source Heat Pump Installation and Maintenance (IMASHPS)
- Ground Source Heat Pump Installation and Maintenance (IMHPS21)
Our renewables courses are standalone for existing Gas Safe Registered engineers.
With the above suite of qualifications, you are eligible to apply for membership of the MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme), which is not only a sign of quality and commitment but boasts several benefits for both installers and manufacturers.
