Gas Courses In Coventry

At Options Skills, we have developed a robust gas training course which can be easily adapted to suit your experience and skillset. The course will provide trainees with both the theoretical and essential practical skills a gas engineer requires.

After eight-weeks training us with at our Birmingham training centre, if necessary, we can place you with an experienced gas engineer to work alongside. During the next stage of training, you will build up a portfolio of work, keeping track with photographic and written evidence.

After completing your portfolio, you will be asked to undertake your summative assessment. During this, you will complete three written assessments and one practical. Your portfolio will also be assessed to ensure it's up to a suitable standard.

You can then go onto take your ACS initial assessment. Returning to our training centre for two weeks, you will be assessed for core gas safety, gas fires and cooers, flue gas analyser and more. It is after successfully passing your ACS that you can go onto apply to the gas safe register to become a gas safe engineer.
