Following training, you will be assessed via a written examination.

It is a legal requirement for anybody who installs domestic heating and hot water systems to comply with Part L of the Building Regulations. Therefore, the Part L course and qualification is aimed at existing installers, gas engineers and plumbers or anybody that installs new heating and hot water systems.
You must register for course attendance by providing at least 2-week’s advance notice. You will be sent a study pack that you will familiarise yourself with before attending the training and assessment day. We put on training days regularly, so you never have to wait too long before you can attend the course.
