About Our (WRAS) Water Regulations Course

Why Undertake A Water Regulations Training Course?

The Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) training course is for heating engineers and plumbers requiring knowledge of the Water Regulations (1999) before they apply to join their local water authorities “Water Industry Approved Plumber Scheme”, a plumbing competent person schemes (CPS) or Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) registration bodies.

The WRAS qualification will ensure you are aware of the legal responsibilities to ensure that any water, waste or sanitation systems you work on are safe and installed to the latest regulations. This will ensure any work carried out is done safely and correctly and allow the operative to advise on any existing installations that may need upgrading.

Training is theory-based, earning you an LCL Awards-issued WRAS certificate.

Our Water Regulations (WRAS) training course is usually £300, including VAT. However, through government-backed funding, we can now offer training free of charge to existing plumbers and gas and heating engineers.
