Water Regulations Qualifications are a must for plumbers, kitchen and bathroom fitters and central heating engineers. The course is designed to provide installers with a critical understanding of the Water Supply Regulations that are the national standard. Anybody that installs plumbing systems in the UK must comply with these regulations. Many installers fail to realise that breach of Water Regulations can lead to prosecution.
Water Regulations 1999 is a 1-day course held at our Birmingham and London Training Centres. The course will provide you with a full understanding and awareness of the Water Regulations. Following training you will be assessed via a written examination. The qualification is accredited by Logic Certification. Following a successful assessment you may wish to apply to your local water authority for Water Regulations Approved Plumber Status (please note that different water authorities, may ask for additional qualifications).

Why you should hold Water Regulations Qualifications
Professional plumbers, bathroom fitters or any person that installs hot or cold water systems should really hold a Water Regulations Qualifications. There is no legal requirement for you to hold this qualification before you undertake an installation. HOWEVER, all installers must be aware of Water Regulations 1999 act as it deals with topics such as contamination and erroneous (wasteful) use of water. You will be prosecuted under the Water Regulations Act if you contaminate a customers water supply and poison a family. Therefore it is highly recommended that all installers get hold of this qualification. It is a sign of competence and professionalism that will reassure customers and major contractors alike.
Water Regulations Qualifications can be gained by attending a one-day course that culminates in a written, multiple choice exam. Courses run every 4-weeks at the training centre and cost £175 including VAT. Please call today to book your place.
